Indonesia’s cocoa beans stand out due to its high level of melting point, low FFA level for butter products and high anti-oxidant content in the powder. In addition, our modern European technology, as well as our team of dedication and professionalism, plays a crucial part in ensuring that our products maintain a high quality.In preparation for the challenges of global competition, BT Cocoa has also received an ISO certification from SAI Global, ISO 22000 - 2005. Bumitangerang Mesindotama, PT (also widely know as BT COCOA) PT Bumitangerang Mesindotama, or more widely known as BT Cocoa, was established in 1993 by Mr. Piter Jasman, who has had an extensive experience in the chocolate industry since 1983. During its initial operation, BT Cocoa manufactured chocolate flavour end products. BT Cocoa shifted its focus to cocoa beans processing in 2000 in order to produce high-quality processed cocoa products. Since then BT Cocoa has become a specialist in the cocoa processing industry.To satisfy the rising demand for cocoa products worldwide, over the years BT Cocoa has increased its production capacity tremendously. Our first factory was inaugurated on 29 January 2002 by the Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Economics, Dr. Dorodjatun Kuntjorojakti, and the Dutch Minister of Foreign Trade, HE Mr. Gerrit Ybema.In 2005 BT Cocoa revamped its production facilities to further optimize our operation as well as to meet global competition. All existing machineries were replaced by state-of-the-art European machineries in order to run efficiently and consistently. Our new production facility was launched on 30 January 2006 by the Indonesian Minister of Industry, Mr. Fahmi Idris.
